Online Returns Policy

The benefits under this Returns Policy are in addition to other rights and remedies you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) as well as any other applicable acts.

We guarantee to refund unworn items when you return it in sellable condition, with the original receipt and packaging, within 7 days of your purchase. Bike Kings reserves the express right to determine whether the returned product is deemed sellable.

There are two return options available.

You may return your item via courier back to our online store, please note we are not currently able to offer exchanges online.

Alternatively you may visit  BIKE KINGS PRETORIA ONLY store to personally return/exchange your item, please remember to present your original invoice instore to assist with processing the return/exchange. A refund will be provided to you by means of an EFT payment to your bank account. Please allow 7-15 working days from the day your return is processed for your account to be credited.

We encourage you to return your parcel via a traceable courier services as all returned parcels remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by Bike Kings. If the reason for the return is due to errors on Bike Kings behalf, then we will cover the costs of returning the item.

All returned items need to be unused and in perfect condition, with swing/ price/ warranty/care tags attached and in their original packaging. We cannot accept returns of damaged products, personalised or otherwise non-saleable products.

Items under warranty may be subject to assessment or repair if returned as faulty.

Delays in return processing may be experienced during busy sale or promotional periods, due to higher volumes.

Bike kings online cannot process returns or exchanges for items that have been purchased in store, you would need to come in store with your product to process the exchange or refund.

To obtain a refund please send us an email with your reason for exchange or refund prior to sending the item(s) back. Wait for a response from our team confirming that you may send, before sending back to us.

Goods need to be sent to Shop J1, Willow Way Shopping Centre. Lynnwood & Albert Ave, Die Wilgers Pretoria East - 0184 South Africa. marked for the attention of the Bike Kings Online store. Please package all returned goods carefully so that the item does not become damaged in transit. Please include the reason for return and a copy of the original invoice. In the event that you elect to return the goods to us via this channel all risks will be for your account. If the postal service or courier company (other than our own courier company) loses the returned parcel, the onus will be on the sender to resolve the issue of the lost parcel.

A refund will be provided to you crediting your original method of payment, providing all the Returns Policy Conditions are met and our warehouse has received the original item that is being returned. Cash refunds will not be provided, under any circumstances.

Completing a returns request

After you have submitted your return request, one of our staff members will contact you to confirm this is a valid request and the address where you can return or exchange. Once the items have been received by our warehouse, we will inspect the goods and authorise the refund. Please note we cannot accept COD deliveries for returns.

Returns without an invoice

Please be advised that we will not accept any returns or exchanges without the original purchase invoice, or if the tags and packaging have been removed.

In-Store Returns Policy

You may return Products, which You have purchased in one of our stores for a refund or exchange within 7 days of the date of purchase, provided that:

  • the Products are in their original purchased condition and packaging and have not been worn or used;
  • the price (swing) ticket and labels are attached to the Products or its packaging;
  • the original till slip accompanies the return and the Products are returned in the original store of purchase;
  • for health reasons no underwear, used/worn helmets and/or soiled Products may be returned;
  • Products that have been altered, repaired, incorporated or added to may not be returned;
  • no gift cards can be refunded.

Products will not be regarded as defective where the fault in the Products results from normal wear and tear, negligence or damage arising from misuse and/or improper or inadequate care of the Products and/or where the items have been altered and/or dealt with or used contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Where applicable, We will refund You the purchase price, which You paid for the returned Products, as follows:

Cash and debit and credit card purchases will be refunded to You the form of EFT payment to your bank;

gift card purchases will be refunded either by crediting the gift card used to make the initial purchase or by issuing of a new gift card.
